The Neue Fürther Hütte is a refuge of the Fürth section of the German Alpine Club . It is located at an altitude of 2201  m above sea level. A. in the uppermost Hollersbach valley in the state of Salzburg in Austria . To the southwest below the hut lies the Kratzenbergsee ( 2167  m ).

History

The refuge was built between 1928 and 1929 as a replacement for today's Rieserfernerhütte and opened on July 15, 1929.

  • From Hollersbach im Pinzgau ( 806  m ) through the Hollersbachtal over the Ofner Boden ( 1534  m ) and the Hangtörl ( 1888  m ), approx. 5 to 6 hours.
