The Einöde Neuensorg is one of 15 districts of the municipality of Hartenstein in the district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria . Neuensorg belongs to the administrative region Middle Franconia and to the administrative community Velden (Pegnitz) . The commercial Neuensorg consists mainly of a dolomite works of about 5 buildings including extensions, is surrounded by fields, meadows and forests and was part of Hartenstein before the regional reform with the deserted Höflas and Häuslfeld. The residents of Neuensorg have the LAU license plate.

location

Neuensorg is located east of Velden and west of Enzendorf on the state road St 2162 and on the Pegnitz (river) . Upper Franconia and the Upper Palatinate border in the immediate vicinity. The neighboring villages are Velden, Pfaffenhofen, Engenthal and Hartenstein. To the east is the Ödlesberg (437 m), the Wasserleite and the Heidenhübel. The next train station is in Velden.
