The village of Lungsdorf is one of 15 districts of the municipality of Hartenstein in the district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria . Lungsdorf belongs to the administrative region of Middle Franconia in Bavaria and to the administrative community of Velden .

Lungsdorf is located southwest of Velden and northeast of Rupprechtstegen on the state road St 2162 and on the Pegnitz . Upper Franconia and the Upper Palatinate border in the immediate vicinity. The neighboring villages are Velden, Häuslfeld, Rupprechtstegen and Münzinghof.
