The film new adventure with Flipper (original title Flipper's New Adventure ) is about the bottlenose dolphin flipper and was in 1964 by MGM rotated. The screenplay was written by Art Arthur and directed by Leon Benson .

Sandy Ricks' friend, the Dolphin Flipper, is to be taken from him. He runs away and hides on a desert island. Julia Hopewell and her daughters Gwen and Penny are stranded on the island after their yacht was hijacked by convicts. Sir Halsey is taken hostage. Sandy and Flipper take up the fight with the convicts.
