Neukirchen am Teisenberg is part of the municipality of the Teisendorf market and a district in the Berchtesgadener Land district in Bavaria .

The place is located in a so-called high valley at the foot of the 1333 m above sea level. NHN m high Teisenberg and with approx. 676 to 721 m is the highest district of the community.

The parish village has a heated outdoor pool. The Neukirchen volunteer fire brigade provides defensive fire protection and general help.

On May 1, 1978, the community of Neukirchen am Teisenberg was completely incorporated into Teisendorf. At the 1970 census the community had 1,052 inhabitants, 416 of them in the parish village of Neukirchen am Teisenberg and 176 in the village of Achthal .
