The neuraum is a Munich club and is located under the central bus station in Munich (ZOB) at the Hackerbrücke .

history

The neuraum was opened in 2009 and has since been the largest club in Munich with a total of 1,200 m² and four floors . The club achieved notoriety primarily through its high-ranking bookings in the EDM area . Behind the neuraum is the Craft Veranstaltungs AG, which is also based in Munich.

The club took part in the “ United We Stream ” campaign of the Berlin club scene, which suffered massive losses due to the measures taken against COVID-19 .

Venue

The neuraum is located under the central bus station in Munich at the Hackerbrücke . The club is 10 meters underground and offers space for up to 2400 people on a total area of ​​approx. 1200 m². The architects Martin Cotter and Daniel Hildmann are responsible for the futuristic design. The main floor offers space for up to 1200 people and is equipped with modern technology, from LED walls and video projectors to laser systems. Musically, the focus here is on electronic music styles . The second area, the gallery, offers space for up to 800 people and puts its musical focus on Black & R'n'B . There is also the third room, the salon, which, with a size of 200 m², also relies on electronic music , albeit in a somewhat harder form. The neuraum is completed by its fourth and smallest room, the cookie jar, which completes the musical offer with Schlager and NDW .

The neuraum is also used as an event location for corporate events of all kinds. Church services have also already taken place in the premises.

Program and events

Mainly DJs who are represented in the DJ Mag Top 100 and can be assigned to the EDM area are booked, such as The Chainsmokers , Steve Aoki , Don Diablo , Oliver Heldens or W&W (DJ-Duo) . In addition, the neuraum regularly offers other events in the field of trance (music) , trap and hardstyle with artists such as Paul van Dyk , Yellow Claw or Brennan Heart . But also a mashup series with artists like Mashup-Germany or the DJs from Mars is part of the musical program.

Due to its close proximity to Theresienwiese and the main train station , the club is a point of contact for Oktoberfest guests . During this time, the club was open for 16 days at a time.
