Neville Rautert (born June 10, 1982 in Winnipeg , Manitoba ) is a former German - Canadian ice hockey player .

Career

Rautert played 218 games in the DEL , but was never a big scorer in the first division. In his career he already went on the ice for Schweinfurt , the ERC Ingolstadt , the Frankfurt Lions , the Wölfe Freiburg and the EHC Munich . In the 2002/03 season , Rautert was DEL rookie of the year .

Rautert was successful in 2006/07 with the EHC Munich and wanted to start again in the DEL after the season. At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he moved to the Straubing Tigers , but returned after a brief interlude back to EHC Munich and signed a two-year contract that was valid until the 2008/09 season. In the period that followed, his contract was extended several times. After the 2010/11 season, however, he did not receive a new contract with EHC Munich, having only played eleven DEL games during the season due to injury. In the fall of 2010, Rautert suffered multiple concussions.

In 2012 he started an internship at EHC Red Bull Munich, which should prepare him for the role of team manager. In 2014 he was part of the management of the ERC Ingolstadt. With the 2018/2019 season he took over the post of sports director at Deggendorfer SC.
