New Holstein is located between Lake Winnebago and Lake Michigan . The village is 102 kilometers north of Milwaukee and 420 kilometers east of Minneapolis . The urban area has an area of 6 km² without any significant water surface. Neighboring communities are Kiel and Chilton .
