Brillion is a small town (with a status of " City ") in Calumet County in the US state of Wisconsin . In 2010 Brillion had 3148 inhabitants.
geography
Brillion is located in eastern Wisconsin on Black Creek , which belongs to the catchment area of Lake Michigan over the Manitowoc River . The city is located around 20 km east of Lake Winnebago , 40 km west of Lake Michigan and 50 km south of the mouth of the Fox River in Green Bay, which is also part of Lake Michigan .
The urban area extends over an area of 6.7 km² and is almost completely surrounded by the Town of Brillion without belonging to it.
Neighboring towns are Reedsville (10 km east-southeast), Collins (16.5 km southeast), Wells (11 km south), Potter (7.8 km south-southwest), Hilbert (13 km southwest), and Forest Junction (8.2 km northwest ).
The nearest major cities are Green Bay (27 miles north), Wisconsin's largest city Milwaukee (143 miles south), Chicago , Illinois (289 miles in the same direction), Wisconsin's capital Madison (187 miles southwest), Appleton (22 miles) west-northwest), Eau Claire (325 km in the same direction), the Twin Cities in Minnesota (455 km also northwest), and Wausau (193 km northwest).

The US Highway 10 runs through the north of the metropolitan area. From this the County Highway PP branches off to the south and runs as the main road through the city center of Brillion. All other roads are subordinate country roads, some unpaved roads and inner-city connecting roads.
With the Outagamie County Regional Airport Appleton is located 46.5 km west-northwest of the nearest airport.

According to the 2010 census , Brillion had 3,148 people in 1,298 households. The population density was 469.9 people per square kilometer. In the 1298 households there were statistically 2.42 people each.
The racial the population was composed of 97.1 percent white, 0.2 percent African American, 0.5 percent Native American, 0.2 percent Asian and 0.9 percent from other ethnic groups; 1.2 percent were descended from two or more races.
