action
Mick is considered one of the best killers in New York. He has already done a few jobs for George, who one day finances the services of a masseuse for him as an additional bonus.
George assigns Mick to kill Fiona, who owes over a million dollars.
Mick meets Fiona, who seems to be waiting for him. He falls in love with her. Because of this, he decides to change his life.
Reviews
James Berardinelli wrote that although the plot was "well thought out" and "thoughtful", the dialogues were "trivial". Anthony LaPaglia could not convince the audience that his life had changed. Berardinelli praised Mimi Rogers and Matt Craven. The critic suspected that the mixture of various genres would be too ambitious.
Hal Hinson wrote in the Washington Post (May 20, 1995) that the film was "more entertaining than it is right to be". He is "nihilistic" and shows it openly. Anthony LaPaglia played "surprisingly" well, but Mimi Rogers would carry the film.
Others
Filmed in Vancouver, the thriller grossed $ 377,108 in US theaters. It premiered on September 14, 1994 at the Toronto Film Festival .
