Until December 2006, Nibe Municipality was a Danish municipality in what was then Nordjyllands Amt in northern Jutland . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Aalborg Municipality together with the “old” Aalborg Municipality , Hals Municipality and Sejlflod Municipality .
Nibe municipality was created in the course of the administrative reform of 1970 and included the following Sogn :
