Hals Commune was until December 2006 a Danish commune in what was then Nordjyllands Amt in north Jutland . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Aalborg Municipality together with the “old” Aalborg Municipality , Nibe Municipality and Sejlflod Municipality . In addition to the administrative seat of Gandrup , the municipality also included the places Vester Hassing , Ulsted , Hou and the eponymous village of Hals .
