Nicholas Carmen Dattilo (born March 8, 1932 in Mahoningtown , New Castle , Pennsylvania , USA ; † March 5, 2004 ) was Bishop of Harrisburg .

Life

Nicholas Dattilo Carmen received on 31 May 1958, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 21, 1989, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Harrisburg. The Archbishop of Philadelphia , Anthony Joseph Bevilacqua , donated him episcopal ordination on January 26, 1990 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Baltimore , William Henry Keeler , and the Bishop of Pittsburgh , Donald Wuerl .
