Jerome Daniel Hannan (born November 29, 1896 in Pittsburgh , USA , † December 15, 1965 ) was Bishop of Scranton .

Life

Jerome Daniel Hannan received on 22 May 1921, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 17, 1954, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of Scranton. The Apostolic Delegate in the United States, Archbishop Amleto Giovanni Cicognani , ordained him episcopally on September 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Washington , Patrick Aloysius O'Boyle , and the Auxiliary Bishop of Scranton, Henry Theophilus Klonowski .
