Life
Alphin began his career in the late 1970s and made his film debut in 1978 with the cartoon Watership Down by Martin Rosen . He was also involved in film and television productions. His television engagements included series such as Das A-Team , Hunter and 21 Jump Street - Tatort Klassenzimmer . In 1996 he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for his work on the television film The Honor to Fly by Robert Markowitz .
1985 he was for people on the river together with Robert Thirlwell , Richard Portman and David M. Ronne for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated, but the award went this year to Miloš Forman's biopic Amadeus .
