Nicolás Corona y Corona (born September 10, 1877 in Aguacapán , Jalisco , Mexico ; † January 8, 1950 in Papantla , Veracruz state ) was Bishop of Papantla .
Life
Nicolás Corona y Corona received on 1 February 1901, the sacrament of Holy Orders . Corona y Corona was pastor in La Piedad from 1912 to 1920 and in Orizaba from 1920 to 1922 .
On December 11, 1922, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the Bishop of Papantla. The Bishop of Veracruz-Jalapa , Raphael Guizar Valencia , donated him episcopal ordination on January 28, 1923 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Sonora , Juan María Navarrete y Guerrero , and the Bishop Emeritus of Chilapa , Francisco Maria Campos y Angeles . The inauguration took place on July 11, 1923.
