Nicola Bellomo (born February 18, 1991 in Bari ) is an Italian football player . Bellomo originally started as a central midfielder, but was used more and more often in the attacking midfield as a playmaker in the following seasons. He is right-footed and has a good long-range shot, and he is good at set pieces.

Born in Bari , Bellomo began his career with his hometown club FC Bari in 1908 when he was young. He made his professional debut for the first team at the end of the 2008/09 Serie B season on May 16, 2009 in a game against FC Modena , which Bari won 4-1. For the following season he was included in the professional squad, but did not come to any use and then played again for the second team.

In July 2010 he was loaned to AS Lucchese Libertas , played a game here and was then loaned again, this time to SS Barletta Calcio . There he came on 33 missions with six hits. He returned to Bari on July 1, 2011 and signed a three-year contract. In Bari he made a total of 52 missions and scored eight goals.

Career to Bari

On July 3, 2013, Bellomo was bought by Torino FC for 1.4 million euros, but Chievo Verona owned 50% of the transfer rights to his contract. For Torino he made his debut at the Italian Cup in the third round against Delfino Pescara . On September 25, 2014 he made his first game in Serie A against Hellas Verona and played through, the game ended 2-2. On October 20, he scored his first goal for Turin with a free kick, the goal came in the 90th minute against Inter Milan . Bellomo's goal was the goal to make it 3: 3, so he saved his team a point at the last minute. In a post-game interview, Bellomo dedicated the goal to his father. His goal against Inter Milan should remain his only goal for Turin, after seven games Bellomo moved to Spezia Calcio on January 29, 2014 .

In Spezia, Bellomo got the symbolically important number 10 and made his debut for his new club on February 1, 2014 in a 1-1 draw against SS Juve Stabia . After two assists in a 3-1 home win against FC Crotone , he scored his first goal for the Aquilotti on March 22, 2014 against Brescia Calcio , the game was won 2-0. Bellomo scored other important goals against AC Cesena on April 12 in a 2-0 win and the 1-0 winner in the following game against AC Siena . On May 3, he scored the decisive goal again for the 2-1 win against Reggina Calcio and with this goal brought Spezia into the play-off places that lead to Serie A. With Spezia he lost in the semi-finals of the play-offs against FC Modena with 0: 1.

After 21 appearances and five goals scored, he moved to Chievo Verona on June 21, 2014 for a transfer fee of 800,000 euros.
