Nicola Leali (born February 17, 1993 in Castiglione delle Stiviere ) is an Italian football goalkeeper . He is under contract with AC Perugia .

Career

Leali began his career at Brescia Calcio . Having for the Primavera -Jugendmannschaft the Lombards had been active, he made his debut on May 15, 2011 at the 0: 1 defeat at AC Cesena under coach Giuseppe Iachini in Italy's top league, the Serie A . After Brescia's relegation to Serie B and the associated departure of the goalkeeper Matteo Sereni , Leali played 14 games under Giuseppe Scienza in the first half of the 2011/12 season . After Alessandro Calori replaced Scienza as coach, Michele Arcari challenged him for the position of goalkeeper.

In June 2012, the Italian record champions Juventus Turin signed the young goalkeeper. The Serie B 2012/13 denied Leali on loan from the second division SS Virtus Lanciano as a regular goalkeeper. In 2013 it was awarded to Spezia Calcio and in 2014 to the AC Cesena .

Since 2009, Leali has been playing in the youth national teams of the Italian association , starting with the U-16s . In June 2013 he was the runner-up European champion at the European Championships in Israel with the Italian U-21 team, coached by Devis Mangia , after losing 4-2 in the final against Spain .
