Nicolaus (I.) Johann von Transehe (born September 13, 1779 , † February 9, 1858 in Neu-Wrangelshof ( Livonia ) was a German-Baltic nobleman and district administrator .

Career

He served in the Imperial Russian Army and quit his service with the rank of Russian captain . From 1836 to 1857 he was the Livonian District Administrator and President of the Livonian Consistory .

Origin and family

Nicolaus Johann von Transehe came from the Sackenhof-Neu-Wrangelhof house of the German-Baltic noble family Transehe-Roseneck . His father was the Russian Colonel Johann von Transehe (* 1745; † 1818 in Kremenchuk ), who was married to Elisabeth Figura-Klodawska († around 1845). Nicolaus (I.) Johann married Charlotte von Transehe (1783–1868) from the Sackendorf family in 1810. Her descendants were:

  • Conctance Julie von Transehe (1818–1875) ∞ Heinrich Karl Leonhard von Kahlen (1814–1890)
  • Johanna Charlotte von Transehe (1819–1865) ∞ Gustav Georg Baron von Vietinghoff (1801–1877), magistrate
  • Marie Helene von Transehe (1821–1872) ∞ Rudolph Friedrich von Bruemmer (1809–1880)
  • Charlotte Alexandra von Transehe (1825–1893) heiress of Dutkenshof ∞ Wilhelm Heinrich von Hansen (1806–1879), Russian lieutenant general

Possessions

Since 1817 he has been the master of Neu-Wrangelshof, since 1829 Alt- and Neu-Sackenhof and Dutkenshof, since 1840 Lissenhof, since 1843 Taurup and since 1850 Wilkenpahlen belonged to the other properties. From 1836 to 1857 he was Arrendator (tenant) of Alt-Wrangelshof. All goods were in the Trikaten parish.
