Nicole Wermers
Nicole Wermers (* 1971 in Emsdetten ) is a German collage artist , sculptor and installation artist . She uses different materials for her work, including metal, ceramics, stone and everyday objects.
life and work
Nicole Wermers was born in Emsdetten, Westphalia , in 1971 . From 1990 to 1997 she studied at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts with Sigmar Polke and Claus Böhmler . In 1999 she obtained a Master of Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London . She lives and worked in London. Nicole Wermers has been a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich since 2017 .
