Lower Saxony Ice Sports Association
The Lower Saxony Ice Sports Association (NEV), also known as the State Ice Sports Association ( LEV) Lower Saxony , is the professional association for ice sports in Lower Saxony . Ice sports are offered in Lower Saxony in the following sports: ice hockey , figure skating , ice dancing , ice stock sport and speed skating .

The NEV is responsible for the amateur game operations for women and men as well as for the youngsters. He also puts together selection teams in the junior division. The NEV works in the so-called Northern Association with the Bremen Ice and Roller Sports Association, the Hamburg Ice and Roller Sports Association , the State Ice Sports Association Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and the State Ice Sports Association Schleswig-Holstein and, as the largest of the regional associations involved, takes on the organization of the joint game operation.

The NEV is currently (as of 2020) organizing the following leagues for the Northern Association:
- Regionalliga Nord (fourth highest division)
- Association League North
- Landesliga Nord (in several seasons)
Lower Saxony clubs in the higher divisions are the Grizzlys Wolfsburg ( DEL ) as well as the Hanover Indians and the Hanover Scorpions (both upper league , third highest division).
