The German Ice Stock Association ( DESV ) is the umbrella organization for the state ice sports associations based in Germany that practice stock sports on ice rinks or other rinks . The seat of the association is Munich , the office is in Garmisch-Partenkirchen .

history

The DESV was founded on June 19, 1966 in Freudenstadt under the name "Deutsche Eisschützen-Vereinigung eV" and was renamed on July 18, 1998 in Dortmund to the current name "Deutscher Eisstock-Verband".

organization

The DESV is a member of the German Olympic Sports Confederation and the International Federation of Icestocksport (IFI) . Christian Lindner is currently the President of DESV.
