The German Lawn Power Sport and Tug of War Association e. V. (DRTV) , based in Frankfurt am Main, is the German umbrella organization for lawn power sports and tug of war .

The lawn power sport consists of the sub-disciplines hammer throw , weight throw and stone throwing . Like the team sport, it is held in weight classes.

The tug of war is a team sport. Eight (8) pullers form a team. The aim is to pull the opposing team four meters over a marker. There are different weight classes and competition classes such as youth, juniors, men, women and mixed (four male and four female pullers). There are tournaments in various national leagues and the Bundesliga, as well as German championships. The German tug-of-war are also internationally successful at world and European championships as well as the World Games.

The umbrella organization is a member of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) and is also represented there in the interest group of non-Olympic associations (IG NOV). It is also a member of the TWIF (Tug of War International Federation).
