Nikola Jakadofsky

Nikola Jakadofsky (* 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian ceramist and nature and landscape mediator .

Live and act

Jakadofsky studied from 1984 to 1991 at the University of Design Linz in the master class ceramics and graduated with honors. In 1991/92 she worked with the workshop for ceramics in Linz and from 1992/93 she went on a trip to New Zealand and the South Pacific .

In 1993 she and Willibald Katteneder moved to Rechberg , where their daughter Anna was born. In 1996 the artist couple opened their own studio in Rechberg. Since 2004, she and her husband have been nature and landscape guides in the Mühlviertel Nature Park . She repeatedly carries out children's art projects in Upper Austrian elementary schools.

The artist deals with the production of everyday objects and art objects from terracotta using a special inlay technique. The objects are vessels, garden ceramics, lamps, stoves, fired pictures and the like. a. m. made of clay.
