Nile Yuri Luzhchak
Nil Jurij Luschtschak OFM ( Ukrainian Ніл Юрій Лущак ; born May 22, 1973 in Uzhhorod , Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Ruthenian Greek Catholic religious and auxiliary bishop in the Mukachev eparchy .
Life
The Bishop of Mukacheve Ivan Semedi ordained him on July 2, 1996 as a priest . He joined the Congregation of the Franciscan in and laid in December 2012, the perpetual profession from.
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on November 19, 2012 titular bishop of Flenucleta and auxiliary bishop in Mukacheve. The secretary of the Congregation for the Eastern Churches , Cyril Vasiľ SJ , donated him episcopal ordination on January 12, 2013 ; Co- consecrators were Milan Šašik CM , Bishop of Mukacheve, and William Charles Skurla , Archbishop of Pittsburgh .
On 20 July 2020 it ordered Pope Francis to apostolic administrator sede vacante e ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the Mukachevo eparchy.
