The Nive des Aldudes is a river that runs mainly in France in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the Pyrenees , just under Spanish territory , in the autonomous province of Navarra , reaches French territory in the municipality of Urepel , generally drains north to northeast through the French Basque Country and flows 36 kilometers into the municipality of Saint-Martin-d'Arrossa as a left tributary into the Nive .
