Michel Boudriau and Kim Houang have known each other since they were eight years old and grew up together in a church orphanage. But the two have been working for the police for a long time. While Kim is a tight squeeze and constantly borrows a cell phone from her colleagues and lets pens and counterfeit branded goods go with her on the police station, Michel is socially committed and leads anti-drug campaigns in schools and a children's choir.
When the police's performance decrease is due, it is announced that the worst will be transferred. After Michel and Kim did poorly on the tests, Kim manipulated the results so that they were both rated as the best. He leaves Michel in the dark about this. But instead of keeping their job, the district manager wants to promote the two of them and move them to different cities. So it is a good thing that police chief Aude Lettelier chose the two as the best police officers in France to investigate the terrorist attacks and a claim of 15 million euros. But after a turbulent investigation, the two find out that Lettelier was behind the blackmail. When she tries to take Kim hostage, she is finally shot by a special task force. Kim is shot. However, nobody wants the money that Michel has secured back, which is why they split it between them. Kim donates his half to the church.
