Nkemjika Natalie Ezurike (born March 19, 1992 in Halifax , Nova Scotia , Canada ) is a Canadian soccer player who has been under contract with the Swedish second division Mallbackens IF since 2017 .

Career

societies

During her studies at the University of Michigan , the daughter of Nigerian immigrants played for the Michigan Wolverines university team there and, with an interruption in 2011, played for the Laval Comets' W-League franchise . In January 2014, Ezurike was signed in eighth place by the Boston Breakers as part of the college draft for NWSL in the first round and made her debut there on April 27 in a home win against Sky Blue FC as a substitute.

For the 2016 season, Ezurike moved to the Swedish first division club Vittsjö GIK . In 2017 she played for Mallbackens IF in Elitettan .

National team

Ezurike was part of the Canadian youth national teams in the age groups U-15 to U-20 and took part in the CONCACAF U-17 championship in 2008 , the U-17 world championship in 2008 , the CONCACAF U-20 championship in 2012 and the U- 20 World Cup 2012 . On March 5, 2014, she made her debut as part of the Cyprus Cup 2014 in the Canadian national team .
