No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) is a 1979 song by Donna Summer and Barbra Streisand that appeared on Wet and On the Radio: Greatest Hits Volumes I & II albums . Harold Faltermeyer , Giorgio Moroder and Gary Klein were responsible for the production .

history

In the song, the protagonist has had enough of her current love affair because it is boring. It was released on October 19, 1979, and the soul and disco number became a number one hit in the United States and Canada . The Recording Industry Association of America awarded the song a gold record and platinum award .

Donna Summer and Barbra Streisand never sang the duet together live after the recording. Summer sang the song live in a duet with Tina Arena and also with her sister Mary Gaines Bernard. Streisand first sang the song live on her Barbara live concert tour (which can be found on the live album Back to Brooklyn ), where she expressed her dismay at Summers death and said that she would have liked to see the song with her singing live.

In the episode Stewie's Miraculous Transformation of Family Guy , Stewie sang the song with his future self.
