Schoolgirl Rachel Watson's entire family is murdered in their own home. Sheriff Joe Webster and his team suspect a man who has temporarily lived with the family.
Radio journalist Trish Burchall, a single widow whose daughters Watson knew well, is investigating on her own. She notes that a similar murder occurred 15 years ago. There was only one survivor, a little boy. Burchall tells the sheriff to find him. Little does she know that she knows the boy. Burchall fears that the person could be the perpetrator and intend to murder themselves and their families.
Reviews
The lexicon of international films wrote that No One Can Hear You was a “common teen scream film” that followed “the rules of the subgenre” in every respect and provided “at best conventionally made entertainment with some tension”. The TV magazine Prisma said the film was a “hearty psychological thriller” that “skilfully misled the audience”.
For Gerd Hilber it was in Teleschau - the media service was a "somewhat uninspired slasher thriller". Only "the last few minutes including the genre-typical showdown" are exciting. TVdirekt thought the film was "nothing special".
