The nobeo GmbH is a TV service company for studio, outdoor and post-production. The company is based in Hürth near Cologne .
Companies
The nobeo site includes eight TV studios with 80 editing stations. Using mobile control rooms and broadcast vehicles, it is possible to record or broadcast live productions. Nobeo also offers a compact outside broadcast vehicle in the form of an expanded minibus (@ -car), with which live streaming and productions with up to eight cameras are possible.
Nobeo's customers include television production companies such as Brainpool , i & u TV , ProSiebenSat.1 Produktion as well as broadcasters such as Sat.1 , RTL and ZDF .
Nobeo GmbH (at that time under the name NOB Deutschland GmbH) was chosen as the location for the first three Big Brother seasons.
history
Nobeo GmbH was founded in 1993 as NOB Deutschland GmbH and at that time was a subsidiary of the Dutch media service provider NOB (Nederlands Omroepproduktie Bedrijf), Hilversum . In 2004 NOB Deutschland GmbH was taken over by the Dutch company United Broadcast Facilities (UBF). In 2007 NOB Deutschland GmbH, which was renamed NOB Studios GmbH, was renamed nobeo GmbH. UBF merged in 2007 with the French Euro Media Télévision. The resulting Euro Media Group, based in Bry-sur-Marne near Paris , claims to be the largest provider of TV production equipment in Europe. In 2008 the company had 1,400 permanent employees in Germany , the Netherlands , France , Belgium , Great Britain and Switzerland and achieved an annual turnover of 313 million euros.
