The Nodbach is an approx. 18 km long right-hand feeder to the Wulka in northern Burgenland .
The brook rises near the so-called Öden Kloster von Baumgarten ( Pajngrt ) and then flows on via Draßburg ( Rasporak ) and Zagersdorf ( Cogrštof ) to Siegendorf ( Cindrof ), where it flows through the area of the former sugar factory and under the Ödenburger Bundesstrasse (B16) . The Klingenbach flows in from the right immediately after the factory premises. The Nodbach then flows over Sankt Margarethen to the local area of Oslip ( Uzlop ), where it flows into the Wulka on the right . In sections, especially in Draßburg, it is also called Draßburger Bach .
Although the Nodbach flows through a relatively compact linguistic island of the Burgenland Croats, there is no Croatian name ( Nodbach potok ). The German name is likely to be derived from the Hungarian word “nád” for “reed”.
