Norbert Körzdörfer
Norbert Körzdörfer (born August 26, 1954 in Regensburg ) is a German journalist and columnist . In addition, from 1996 to 2000 he was editor-in-chief of Bildwoche and a writer.
Career
Körzdörfer began his career in 1975 as a local reporter for the Abendzeitung in Munich and in 1976 switched to the Munich local edition of the tabloid Bild. Körzdörfer went to New York in 1980 and worked as a freelance writer there, for example writing for Welt am Sonntag . In 1984 he became Bild's chief reporter. In 1989 he moved to Illustrierte Bunte as deputy editor-in-chief until he returned to Bild in 1992 and was a member of the editor-in-chief there. From 1996 to 2000 he was also the editor-in-chief of Bildwoche. Since 2001 he has been an advisor to the editor-in-chief of Bild .
Responsible for the tabloid newspaper Bild
Körzdörfer's columns bones end about his Jack Russell mixed breed dog Ruby, written under the pseudonym Herrchen, have been published in the tabloid Bild since the mid-1990s, initially for three weeks from Monday to Saturday and then weekly on Saturdays until January 2011. They have also appeared in book form. The column was discontinued after the bitch was euthanized in January 2011 at the age of 17.
In addition, from 2001 to 2007, Körzdörfer wrote columns in the newspaper Bild under the pseudonym David Blieswood , which he had previously written in the same way in the Welt am Sonntag . These columns have been criticized for their undefined PR coverage and surreptitious advertising. He is also responsible for the winners & losers of the day and cinema reviews.
Since January 2007 he has been responsible for the Körzdörfers Gesellschaft gossip column, where he again attracted attention due to the lack of journalistic distance, whereby he allowed himself to be completely absorbed by the Scientology organization , for example during an interview with Tom Cruise .
