Norbert Klaus Fuchs

Norbert Klaus Fuchs (born May 21, 1941 in Hildburghausen ) is a German author, editor and publisher of non-fiction and fiction books.

Life

Norbert Klaus Fuchs grew up in the southern Thuringian cities of Heldburg and Hildburghausen. After graduating from the Geschwister-Scholl-Oberschule (Gymnasium Georgianum) Hildburghausen in 1959, he trained as a radio and television mechanic in Radeberg. This was followed by studies in electrical engineering in Mittweida (FH) and Dresden (TU). He then worked as an engineer in the Rheinsberg / Mark nuclear power plant and as a graduate engineer in the Robotron combine in Dresden.

Norbert Klaus Fuchs has been a freelance writer since 1987. After moving to Brilon (Hochsauerland) in 1990 he founded the writing workshop of the VHS Brilon, the literary support association Brilon e. V. and the Norbert Klaus Fuchs publishing house. In addition, he was in charge of numerous literary and musical events: u. a. Readings with Gisela Uhlen , Brigitte Oleschinski , Heinz Czechowski . In cooperation with the Westphalian Literature Office in Unna , he directed an event of the West German radio station odyssey in lyrix in the series Forum Poesie (with Ralf Thenior , Saskia Fischer and Herbert Knorr, among others ) in the literary café Brilon. Fuchs accompanied several literary journeys of the VHS Brilon. In 1995/96 he gave a series of lectures in Hesse, Thuringia and Bavaria on Celtic cultural history.

From 1992 to 2000 he was a member of the VS Association of German Writers in North Rhine-Westphalia and in 1993 a founding member of the Christine Koch Society (until 2000). Norbert Klaus Fuchs is a member of the Veste Heldburg e. V . and the Friends of the Billmuthausen Memorial e. V. Since 2001 he has lived and worked in Dresden.
