Saskia Fischer (writer)
Saskia Fischer (* 1971 in Schlema ) is a German writer .
Life
Saskia Fischer moved from the GDR to the West in 1986 . After attending a grammar school in Übach-Palenberg , she studied theater studies and German at the Ruhr University in Bochum from 1992 to 1995 . She broke off her studies and published her first literary works as a freelance writer. In addition, she worked for the North Rhine-Westphalia Literature Office in Düsseldorf and the Westphalian Literature Office in Unna . She has lived in Berlin since 2005 . Saskia Fischer mainly writes poetry .
