Norbert Mittrücker (born August 28, 1951 in Eisenberg ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After elementary school, Mittrücker completed an apprenticeship as a high-voltage electrician. He then attended a vocational training school and a technical college in Kaiserslautern before studying at the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences and becoming an engineer (grad.) In 1975. Then he studied at the Universities of Erlangen-Nuremberg and Kaiserslautern and became a qualified engineer in 1980. He then worked for Siemens and Mercedes-Benz in Mannheim until 1994 . In 1995 he opened his own engineering office. In 2005 he received his doctorate in Dr. rer. publ. Mittrücker is married and has two children.

politics

In 1980 Mittrücker joined the CDU. In 1985 he was in the council of Hettenleidelheim selected. Since 1993 he has been chairman of the CDU local association. In 1996 he was elected to the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament, of which he was a member until 2016. Mittrücker has also been a member of the district council of the Bad Dürkheim district since 1999 .
