Norbert Oberhauser (born March 6, 1972 in Graz ) is an Austrian radio and television presenter.

Life

In 1990 Oberhauser passed his Matura and then began studying German , English and journalism at the Karl Franzens University in Graz . At the same time, he started his professional career in 1992 as an editor for ORF Styria . He then worked as a radio presenter for Antenne Steiermark and KroneHit . He then switched to television and hosted several programs on Puls TV .

In 2004 he moderated the formats VIP Lounge and Austria Top News , later also Google Trends and the knowledge magazine Wiff Austria . Oberhauser became known to the general public through the breakfast television Café Puls , which he hosted alongside Johanna Setzer from 2005 onwards. Since Oberhauser's professional break in the summer of 2012, Florian Danner can be seen in his place on breakfast television.

From January 2013, Oberhauser presented the pre-evening magazine Guten Abend Österreich on Puls 4 alongside Corinna Milborn and Thomas Mohr . In addition to the two news presenters, he took on the lifestyle and society topics within the program.

From 2010 to 2012, Oberhauser was nominated as the “most popular presenter” for Romy for three consecutive years , the last two times (2011 and 2012) together with co-presenter Johanna Setzer.

Together with Volker Piesczek , Eric Papilaya and Pepe Schütz, he has been performing with the group “The Rats Are Back” since 2013.

Since January 2019 he has been presenting the early evening magazine “ Studio 2 ” on ORF 2 together with Verena Scheitz .

Private

Oberhauser has been in a relationship with his girlfriend Sarah for several years. Oberhauser's father is the former head of entertainment at ORF Steiermark Pert Oberhauser. His brother, who is ten years younger than him, is a pilot. Oberhauser himself played drums in his childhood and sang in a band. As a teenager, he worked on construction in the summer and wanted to save money for a pop music career.
