Nordisch by Nature is a song by the Hamburg hip-hop group Fettes Brot . The title is based on the name of the hip-hop duo Naughty by Nature, who appeared in the early 1990s.

The piece was released in 1995 in three versions of different lengths: on the long-playing record Auf ein Auge blöd and as a single and maxi-single. It was the third single on the LP; the idea of ​​releasing this piece as a single came from the record company.

The single Nordisch by Nature was the first chart placement for Fettes Brot, reached number 17 in the German charts and stayed in the hit parade for 22 weeks.

A live version of Nordisch by Nature (recorded in Husum ) was released in 2000 on the double CD Fettes Brot für die Welt , another (recorded in December 2009 in the Color Line Arena in Hamburg) was released in 2010 on the CD Brot .
