Men's Nordic Football Championship 1937–47
The Nordic football championship 1937–47 for men's national teams took place between June 13, 1937 and October 5, 1947. The host Finland praised the trophy Suomen Karhut ( German Finnish bear ). Defending champion Sweden won the competition, which was held for the fourth time, for the second time. Due to the Second World War there was an interruption, after which it was decided not to evaluate the results of 1945 and 1946.
mode
The four participating teams played the tournament winner according to the "everyone against everyone" mode, with each team playing four times against each other. The team that had the most points or, if there was a tie, the better goal difference at the end of all games, won the tournament.
