Men's Nordic Football Championship 1956–59
The Nordic football championship 1956–59 for men's national teams took place between June 10, 1956 and October 18, 1959. Organizer Norway praised the Eventyr og Lek ( German adventure and game ) trophy . The competition, which was held for the seventh time, was won by defending champion Sweden for the fifth time in a row.
mode
The four participating teams played the tournament winner according to the "everyone against everyone" mode, with each team playing four times against each other. The team that had the most points or, if there was a tie, the better goal difference at the end of all games, won the tournament.
