Nordmaling is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Västerbotten County and the historical province of Ångermanland .
The place is 53 km south of Umeå on the European route 4 on the Bottenwiek and is the main town of the municipality of the same name . In Nordmaling there is a medieval church from the 1480s. The former Olofsfors ironworks is now an industrial monument.
Nordmaling has a train station on the Botniabanan .
