North Island is a small uninhabited island in the Indian Ocean , about 75 km off the Western Australian coast.
It is mostly regarded as the northernmost island of the Wallabi Islands , a group of islands in the north of the Houtman-Abrolhos archipelago . It is separated from the rest of the Wallabi Islands by the South Passage , and is 18 km northwest of West Wallabi Island and East Wallabi Island , the closest islands.
