The Coral Patches , literal translation: The coral patches are a coral reef and a group of islands in the Indian Ocean 59 km off the West Australian coastal town of Geraldton . They belong to the Pelsaert Islands , the southernmost group in the Houtman-Abrolhos archipelago .

The group consists of 13 very small and flat islands, which lie in the middle of a coral reef of around 73  hectares . The islands of The Coral Patches are not officially named or numbered.
