Novum Energy Texas Open Women's Squash Championship 2018

The 2018 Novum Energy Texas Open Women's Squash Championship took place March 22-25, 2018 in Houston , Texas , United States . The women's squash tournament was part of the women's PSA World Tour 2017/18 and belonged to the PSA 25 category .

Last year's winner was Annie Au , who did not run again. Amanda Sobhy defeated Reeham Sedky 11: 8, 10:12, 11: 6 and 11: 9 in the final .

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Olivia Fiechter a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 25,000.
