The Gmina Nowe Brzesko is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Proszowicki of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name with about 1650 inhabitants. On January 1, 2011 Nowe Brzesko was raised to the city.
