Novyj Bykiw ( Ukrainian Новий Биків ; Russian Новый Быков Novy Bykow ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Chernihiv Oblast with about 2000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in the second half of the 16th century, another source mentions the year 1564, has been part of the rural community of the village of Nova Bassan in the southeast of Bobrowyzja district since 2018 . The Church of the Assumption of Mary, built by Kirill Rasumowski at the beginning of the 19th century, is located in .
The village is located 15 km upstream of the urban-type Shuriwka settlement on the left bank of the Supij , a 144 km long left tributary of the Dnieper , 31 km southeast of the Bobrovytsia district center and 125 km south of the Chernihiv oblast center .
The village is conveniently located on the N 07 road and the T-25-27 and T-25-41 territorial roads .
