Nuno Miguel Sousa Pinto (born August 6, 1986 in Vila Nova de Gaia ) is a Portuguese football player . He has been playing for Vitória Setúbal in the Primeira Liga , the top Portuguese division , since 2015 .

Career

Pinto began his career in the youth team at Boavista Porto , from where he was loaned out to Vilanovense FC in the 2005/06 season. In 2006 he returned to Porto and worked for Boavista. The left-back made his debut in the top Portuguese division on January 28, 2007 against Sporting Lisbon . He was substituted in the 73rd minute against Fary Faye . The game ended 1-1. Boavista finished ninth in the league at the end of the season. In 2007/08 he was awarded again and played one season with CD Trofense . The club made it to the top division with Pinto. He was then signed by Nacional Funchal .

In his first season he came on seven missions. The club finished fourth and was able to qualify for the Europa League . He made his debut at European club level in the 2009/10 Europa League season when he came on as a substitute for Slovenian Nejc Pečnik in the 55th minute of qualifying against Zenit Saint Petersburg on August 20, 2009 . The game was won 4: 3. In the group stage, Pinto was used in three games, where he saw the yellow-red card in the second group game against Athletic Bilbao . In the championship Nacional was able to achieve seventh place.

In 2012 and 2013 Pinto played for the traditional Bulgarian club Levski Sofia before moving to the Ukrainian club Tawrija Simferopol in January 2014 . In the summer of 2014 he joined Astra Giurgiu in the Romanian League 1 . However, it was only used eight times in the 2014/15 season .

In the summer of 2015 Nuno Pinto returned to Portugal, where Vitória Setúbal signed him.
