Nureddin Tarraf , Egyptian Arabic Nour El-Deen Tarraf ( Arabic نور الدين طراف; * April 3, 1910 ; † May 23, 1995 ), was an Egyptian politician and, under Gamal Abdel Nasser, the chairman of the Executive Council of the Southern Region of the United Arab Republic .

From 1952 to 1958 and in 1961 Nureddin Tarraf held the post of Minister of Health. As chairman of the Executive Council, Tarraf was the first civilian prime minister after the abolition of the Egyptian monarchy.

Nureddin Tarraf was married to Anisa Hefny, professor of paediatrics at the Kasr El Aini Hospital, which is part of the medical faculty of the University of Cairo . Two of her sons also became professors.
