Usage catalog
The catalog of types of use was created by the Working Group of the Surveying Administrations of the Federal Republic of Germany (AdV) with a nationally applicable structure and description of the actual types of use. In Germany, the actual use of a parcel in the real estate cadastre is referred to as the type of use.
In the usage type catalog, four usage type areas corresponding to the property type groups are distinguished in accordance with the ALKIS property type catalog:
- 10000 - settlement
- 20000 - traffic
- 30000 - vegetation
- 40000 - waters
The type of use areas themselves do not belong to the actual use and cannot be assigned to their description; they serve the technical assignment of the usage type groups and their consolidation for evaluations.
A distinction is made between 26 usage type groups within the usage type areas; these correspond to the ALKIS property types:
- 11000 - residential area
- 12000 - industrial and commercial space
- 13000 - dump
- 14000 - mining operation
- 15000 - opencast mine , mine, quarry
- 16000 - mixed use area
- 17000 - area of special functional character
- 18000 - sports, leisure and recreation area
- 19000 - cemetery
- 21000 - road traffic
- 22000 - way
- 23000 - place
- 24000 - rail traffic
- 25000 - air traffic
- 26000 - shipping traffic
- 31000 - Agriculture
- 32000 - forest
- 33000 - wood
- 34000 - heather
- 35000 - bog
- 36000 - swamp
- 37000 - Unland , area without vegetation
- 41000 - flowing waters
- 42000 - harbor basin
- 43000 - Standing water
- 44000 - sea
These usage type groups are broken down into individual usage types . These in turn can be further subdivided systematically.
