Oana Andreea Manea (born April 18, 1985 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian handball player . She last played for the Romanian first division club CSM Bucharest and was part of the Romanian national team for many years .

Career

Oana Manea played from 2001 for the Romanian first division club CS Oltchim Râmnicu Vâlcea . With Oltchim, she won the Romanian Championship in 2002, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, the Romanian Cup in 2002, 2007 and 2011 and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2007 . After Oltchim went bankrupt in 2013, she joined the Slovenian association RK Krim . In February 2014, the cyclist left Crimea and switched to the Romanian club CSM Bucharest . With CSM Bucharest she won the Romanian Championship in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, the Romanian Cup in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the EHF Champions League in 2016 . After the 2018/19 season, she ended her career.

Oana Manea took part with the Romanian national team in two world championships (2009 and 2011) and four European championships (2004, 2008, 2010 and 2012) with the Romanian national team. She then ended her international career. In 2015 she made her comeback for the Romanian national team. With Romania she participated again in the 2015 World Cup, the 2016 Olympic Games and the 2016 European Championship. In December 2016, she announced her resignation from the national team. With the Romanian selection, she won the bronze medal at the 2010 European Championships and 2015 World Championships .
